They are natural separately, but not as dialog. There isn't a convenient question word to elicit early as the response.

As dialog, you want these:

-- At what time does he get up?
-- I don't know the exact time, but he gets up early every day.

-- How does he manage to get up (so) early every day?
-- He uses an alarm clock.
