I’d rather go sailing – gerund

He is a fishing fanatic – adjective

He is looking fantastic – present continuous  

She is strikingly beautiful – adverb

I saw the lady screaming at the crying baby - present participle and adjective.

I was calling from earth to a planet named after you.Big Smile [:D]

It means “anybody out there listening (in space) ” or “am I talking to the empty universe?”
