As far as I know "educative" and "educational" should be synonyms, and thus interchangeable.

I don't think I've ever heard it used either, Barb.  I'd also be interested in hearing whether it is used (commonly or otherwise) in the UK.

Thank you Marius. I didn't mean I didn't understand the word. I simply meant that I don't recall ever seeing it used.

I was wondering if this was one of those "disoriented/disortientated" situations, or one of the "brunet" situations.
