Hello Sir,

I have been give a sentence in which I have to insert  either or neither.

The sentence is  -

a) I bought two pens. ------ is good.

1. I  bought two pens. Eiether is good.

2. I baught two pens. Neither is good.

Are both (1) and (2) possible.

Thanks and regards.

Both are possible, but #1 has limited use; the normal would be I bought two pens; both are good.  The either form appears in a context where obviously only one of the two items is required:  You can borrow either of them. (not both!)
