Thank you for your application for the role of xxx with xxx Systems.

Your skills and experience look ideal, but we are concerned as to your location. The job is based in and will involve European and worldwide travel.

Are you considering moving to the ? If so, would you be able to travel freely within or would you need to apply for a visa for each visit?

Hi sohailkhan
Welcome to the Forums! Your email looks fine. I've put in a few minor suggesions. It seems to me that if your applicant applied for the job, they would be considering relocation. But it is good to ask anyway.

Dear Mr xxx,

Hi sohailkhan,

That does change things significantly.
Your applicant has written that they are willing to move to the UK, and that they have a visa issue with European (including UK) travel.
If I were you, I would discuss the possibilities of your company sponsoring a new employee in obtaining a long-term visa with your legal experts. Obtaining a visa can be an expensive and time-consuming ordeal, but in other cases, it will be simply a matter of form and time. You might ask him to send a copy of his passport information to help in the investigation.

In the meantime, respond tentatively:

Thank you for your application for the role of xxx with xxx Systems.

Your skills and experience look ideal, but we are concerned as to your visa status. I will get back with you after consultation with legal. Please let me know if your situation changes.
