In reply to your advertisement in the Ming Pao on 4th January 2005, please accept my application for the vacancy in ASWO.

I have had over seven years of various experiences in social work field. All experiences have given me permission to refer you to them for information about the quality of the work I did while in their employ.

I am a registered Social Worker and just graduate from the part-time Master Course of Social Science in Social Work, offered by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 1998 to present, I am employed by the Haven of Hope Christian Service as a social worker, the job duties are to handle case work in mentally retarded persons, supervise front-line staffs and implement the services development. Since 2002, I have been responsible for the residential setting in the new branch, including in planning and implementing the strategy development. Indeed, it broads my managerial skills in social work field. Moreover, I have concrete experiences in writing project planning and funding proposal for the agency.

I am confident that my experiences and advanced knowledge in counseling, program practicing and administrative support can truly prove myself are suitable for the job requirement in the captioned vacancy.
