hello,

i have a difficulty in teaching english for nurses. i dont know what to teach, and i dont know how to prepare the syllabus. please help me, what should i do?

do some research on the internet. there are some resources on english for nursing. also there is a book called "everyday english for nursing". you can teach some abbreviation, suffix prefix, special vocabulary, communication btw a patient and a nurse also communication btw a doctor and a nurse, also describing pain/ symptoms etc. can be taught. besides how to write a medical report and how to make a presentation in a medical symposium etc can be taught. some listening activities concerning nursing and specail reading texts can be added into your program. good luck!
