Hello,

I am trying to practice my listening. Here is one that I am having problem with.

The ___ is where I don't understand.

This is my transcript I have written down so far.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Apparel

Apparel

Apparel functions as two parts of speech.
It can be used as a noun meaning clothing or dress.
By July many department stores are selling fall apparel.
or in Shakespears' "As You Like It" the ____ disguise herself in man's apparel.

Or apparel can be used as a verb that means to put clothes on, or to dress up.
The chore members might be apparel in all the colors of the rainbow.
Or The guests at Halloween party might address themselves in colorful and imaginative customes.

Now let's hear you say apparel
try the word again.

You can hear the clip here:

Notes:
Please note __ does not necessarily mean just one word. It just means that I don't understand what is being said in that part
Please correct me if I have get other transcripts wrong. Your help will be greatly appreaciated.

If you don't have a sense of humor already, it's about time you buy one.
