Hi Stan! I asked my mother once how to say "God bless America" in her language. She spoke both Russian and Ukrainian. I'm not sure which language she used, but here it is: (phonetic) "Bog graniet Ameriku", or so it sounded to me. Can you correct?

I would like to visit Moscow and Kiev someday! Which region are you from?

Hi, Verade.
I'm from Sochi, but now I live in Moscow. Moscow is the good city for pleasure visit, but very expensive. Where is your mother from? Is she from Ukrain?
"God bless America" in Russian phonetic is -  "Bozhe hrani Ameriku" I can't find transcription for this words, but I hope your mother will tell your how to pronounce this expression.

Yes, my job is very interesting. But my first higher education isn't related with my job and now I want to get the second higher education, f.e. MBA CIO in The Academy of national economy.

Do you find it difficult to work and study at the same time? Sometimes I wonder how we do it all! By the way--I have never used Skype. What are the advantages?

hi guys! well i'm not russian, but i'm a fan of russia! Smile although it's very cold there. btw, can i ask something about russian grammar? is it like english structure ? Subject+tobe/verb+adj/noun ..etc etc ?

if you don't find me here, go to my second community ok guys. I'm not promoting anything, i like both forums, i just don't have the time to login both at the same time, i'm always traveling and i login from airports while waiting for my plane, train stations, etc etc.  only my first community is like a family, the members are limited there, a closer relationship you could say. but englishforums is bigger and i get some infos here. very nice to see people from different countries trying to learn the same language

Dear Stan:

I am a native English speaker who is very interested in Russia and the Russian language (which I wish to learn and know several phrases).

I have experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).

What is your goal on your quest of finding people who are learning English or who speak English?  (I note that you posted in January 2008.  As it is now August, I wonder if you will see this at all, and whether you are still  working at this endeavour.

Za drovya (correct closing for 'God Bless', or 'be blessed'?
