Hi,

In Billy's short tale, "The Ghost",  he emphasizes three main themes: human imperfection, science versus nature, and love.

I wouldn't abbreviate 'versus' if I were writing formally.

Actually, I'd consider avoiding the word 'versus', and try to explain my meaning in a clearer way. The phrase 'science versus nature' does not bring a clear image to my mind. My first thought when I hear it is that science and nature do not conflict, as science seeks to explain nature.

Best wishes, Clive

Hi Clive

In Billy's short tale, "The Ghost",  he emphasizes three main themes: human imperfection, science versus nature, and love. (I think a comma is needed in AmE.)
