I don't demand for correction of the whole text! Correcting any part of it will make me happy enough :)

Topic: why people have children older, why is this happening and what are the possible consequences of that for the family and the society.

Essay:

The tendency of the last three or four decades is having children in a fairly older age than people used to. While some claim the humanity has become more mature and more likely to consider birth giving a great decision, others are rather alarmed.

There has been a significant change in the way we live recently. Women do not have time for motherhood and marriage, being absorbed by a career planning and further education. The ideal family must have a number of home appliances, a car or even two, and future parents should have the most prestige jobs are possible. The first goal for all of us is a material success.

There is no doubt the older parents have advantages to the younger ones. Firstly, middle aged people understand the responsibility the giving birth requires. Secondly, they are meant to have stable jobs and salaries.

On the over hand, it is argued that the child of the middle-aged parents can be expected to have serious health problems. The variety of the genetic diseases threatens these children. What is more, the whole society may suffer. More people hesitate to build a family and the world is ageing, which means less children are born, while life expectancy is rather high and keep grow. The society may face the problem of a lack of youngsters who are expected taxpayers.

Overall then, the point of view presented in this response in that the older parenthood has both pros and cons, but obviously we should be aware of this tendency to prevent the possible negative effects.
