Stick out tongue

Actually there are so many ways to say you suck at something.

Tanit's are good: I don't know beans about that. Very informal, but not at all vulgur. I know squat about that. (Also informal, also not vulgar.) (You may remember my old sig line: I don't know squat about Type II conditionals...)  Interestingly, I don't know squat and I know squat both mean you know nothing.

If I heard someone say "I'm a real zero when it comes to that" I would think that if he were grading himself on a scale from 1 to 10, he'd not even give himself a 1, and your meaning would come through.

Now, of course, I hear Butterfly McQueen and her famous line "I don't know nuthin' 'bout birthin' no babies!"

My favorite is "I'm totally clueless when it comes to ..." (cars, PCs, cricket).

And of course, plan English: I have no skills in that area at all!

I usually say "I don't have a clue (about something)" = I know nothing (about something). Of course it's not very original, but it's common.
And what's wrong with my AmE? Hmm I actually like BrE too, as long as it's an accent with as few released t's as possible (so I guess I don't like RP and posh accents). So you'd better not pronounce the t's in "Harry Potter", ok? Stick out tongue Hehehe.

If you don't have a sense of humor already, it's about time you buy one.

I knew you would say something about that, TB!   - I missed you today..

There is nothing wrong with your AmE..it's just that you are a bit obsessed!  Big Smile

Actually, the original has "anything".  Most whites remember it as less grammatical than it really was, due to interference from the accent, perhaps.

I don't know anything about birthing babies.

Is there an idiom for that?  "I'm fish"?
This has been covered thoroughly above, but let me just add a very neutral one:

I'm hopeless at ...
