Hello all,

+ I'd like to get your opinion please; can I use the word "Experimentation " in an IT context? (for example, Exprimentation of a software)

+ Can I call the enterprise, in which I did my internship, the "host" company ? or is there a more convenient compound noun?

Best Regards.

I would refer to 'experimenting with software' or 'experimenting with a piece of software'.

'experiments with software' or 'experiments with a piece of software'.

'an experiment with software' or 'an experiment with a piece of software'.

Also, experiments / experimenting with a program.

The term 'host' in IT would lead people to think of a host computer.

Perhaps the word you need is 'sponsor'.

My sponsor. - a person or organisation.

My sponsors. - any two or more persons and / or organisations.
