Hi Vijus,
Oh I'm sorry it all went a bit wrong yesterday and the Dr took it the wrong way. Employers can be very trying sometimes! Here you go then, let's hope that he/she is a bit more cooperative this time.
Dear Doctor,
RE: my request of yesterday and our subsequent discussion.
First of all I appeal you to accept my sincere apologies for the misunderstanding about the request letter given. As I said yesterday, I have no intention of leaving you and I will always be exremely grateful for all the assistance extended by you to my family. I really enjoy working here and am very happy with the salary paid as it is certainly a fair one for this job. However, the situation has emerged now that we are unable to manage the family budget with our present earnings. To enlighten you about our basic expenses, we pay KD 135 as rent and KD 65 to the baby sitter and of course there are other regular expenses. Therefore I have to look at ways of improving my situation in future but I can assure you that any changes would not be made for quite some time. At this point, all I wish to do is apply to take an examination.
There is no contradiction between working in a clinic/hospital while submitting the application for the MoH examination. The only condition they set, so as to accept the application, is that the candidate should either be on a visit visa else should submit an NOC letter from the current employer. It is a common occurrance for employers to issue the letter giving their employees permission to take the examination. Though they haven’t list any standard format for the same, I think a translation of the following specimen would be acceptable.
Please be advised that the chance of getting selected through the said exam is very low. I may well apply and not get selected. Out of the conducted two examinations less than 20% is the success rate. If by the grace of god and by luck I did get selected, the rest of the selection process would take more than six months to complete, in which time it is easily possible to arrange my replacement, and I would cooperate and assist with this process in every way.
Once again I humbly request you to consider my situation and hope that you please don’t misread my intention. I am very grateful for the opportunities and kindness you have given me,
Sincerely
SVK
