Dear Mr. ***,
The purpose of this is to convey to you my sincere apologies for leaving early during my support time without getting prior permission or notifying the authorities concerned.
What happened that night was when I saw there was only 20 minutes more of support time and no new work updates, I took it for granted and left earlier.
I know that I have done a great injustice to all my colleagues. My personal apology to my team leader Mr. *** and my team members as I have really let them down. I have set a bad example for myself and my team members. I take full responsibilty for the incident and I am sorry.
Because of this, I hereby resign from the post of social club in charge and can also consider that day as "loss of pay".
Let me assure you that what happened in my case is not typical of my level of customer service. I will continue to be committed to providing Vanilla and all of our customers with the highest standards of service in the industry as I have always done.
