What are these in English?

1. The post that you write yourself (in other words, you are the author of the post) is called a __. (original post?)

2. The post that others write but you quote or cite is called a __. (quoted post?)

You're the original poster, or OP.

You can say "quoted post" or "In GG's quote of Jingtian's post, she said..."

Thank you very much, Grammar Geek.

As regards the first question, I want to ask what kind of post it is. If I am the original poster, then the post is an __ (original post?) of mine.

Sure, you can say it was your original post.

If you are the original poster, you can also say that you "started the thread".
