Dear Teachers,

1. When you have difficult matters / problems / issues, you have to face them and solve them.

- Is this natural?

2. I'm very much obliged to you.

- This means "Thank you very much indeed", right?

3. - Thanks for caring about me.

    - Thanks for your attention.

- Are these natural and the same meaning?

4. I'm so sorry for keeoing you waiting so long.

 - Is this natural?

5. Could you do me a favor?

- This means "Could you help me?", right?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

 Stevenukd.

- Is this natural? This inlusion of "and solve them" makes it slightly less natural. I would end the sentence at "face them."

2. I'm very much obliged to you.

- This means "Thank you very much indeed", right? Yes, but it's not commonly used in the U.S. Let a BrE speaker tell you whether it's still common in the U.K.

3. - Thanks for caring about me.

    - Thanks for your attention.

- Are these natural and the same meaning?  I would have to work hard to construct a situation where "thank for caring about me" sounded natural in anything other than an intimate exchange between lovers. Thanks for your assistance, thanks for your consideration, thank you for your attention to this matter (business writing)... give us context and we can help you write this in a more natural way.

4. I'm so sorry for keeoing you waiting so long.

 - Is this natural? Assuming you mean keeping, yes.

5. Could you do me a favor?

- This means "Could you help me?", right? Yes.

Thanks very much to Teachers,
