Hi,

Can you give some common expressions in the "question" form that have falling intonation at the end?

Some expressions that I can think of are these:

How do you do?

What are you doing?

Which school do you go to?

Theoretically, any of the '5W' (who, what, which, where, why, how) questions end on a falling tone after a preterminal rise-- this is in contradistinction to 'Yes/No' questions, which rise at the end.  Another question type that fall at the end is the choice question:  Would you like coffee, tea or milk?

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'
