Hello,

1. It takes four hours to reach Pune by bus;It takes three hours by car.(fast).

I have to compare these two sentences using the word given is bracket. Starting word is given as below.

1. It is ........................................

My thoughts are

a) It is faster to reach pune by car than by bus.

Is my sentence correct? Any other way to express, but starting word must be  "It is..."

Thanks.

It is faster to reach pune by car than by bus.

This is a good solution.  (Pune, not pune.)

Another way?  Hmmm. I suppose you could say:

"It is faster to go by car than to go by bus if you are travelling to Pune."
