Hey guys!

I just came across a nice quote and I'd like to share it:

FEAR is an acronym in the English language for "False Evidence Appearing Real"

~ Neale Donald Walsch

A nice one, isn't it? I'll try to recollect it every time I fear something, hehe.

It reminds me of what my wannabe-psychologist friend says:  hate (a very strong and draining emotion - with very little reward) is really a combination of fear and love.  We "hate" something that we love because we fear it will hurt us.

Hi,

It doesn't work well for me, because it seems to equate 'fear' with 'false evidence'.

On the contrary, fear can often be a very valid and useful reaction.

eg If I encounter a bear, I feel fear.

Best wishes, Clive
