The hostess made us feel very comfortable and fed/served us delicious food.

Hi,

Do both fed and served fit in the above and mean about the same to you? Thanks.

Not all both can not fit in the above sentence, only serve is correct

In flights hostess only serve us the food. They do not fed us the food. Fed the food means they put food inside your mouth with there own soft hands no one is that lucky got it

Though I agree that serve fits better, I do not think feed means spoon feed.

A: Why is your boyfriend so grumpy?

B: I don't know. Normally, he's grumpy when he's hungry and tired. I already fed him. Maybe it's because my mom has overstayed her welcome.

Who wants to go sailing around the world with me?

I agree, N2G, it will depend on context.

It took me two hours to feed the baby! - Yes, that would be actually putting the food in the baby's mouth.

I'm having company unexpectedly for dinner, and I have no idea what I will feed them! - That refers, of course, to the food you will put on the table. It is expected that they will perform the actual act of eating without assistance from me.

"fed us" is too informal.

Use "served" in your sentence.
