What do your think of this topic? I need to do an essay with regards to this topic. I believe there are 3 aspects -- Physical, psychological and emotional. Any others? And when proving your points, mind having some statistics? Much appreciation!

I am more than what my expectations are. I am more than what my potential would be.

As far as the physical point of view is concerned  I think women are weaker ,but  they are emotionally stronger( they can bear more stress and pain than men and equal  in intellect,if someone argues that there are more intellectually successful men in the world .I have to say that they can't get equal oportunities still in the 21 century.

I agree. Many, but not all, women have knitting patterns where their logic maps should be.
Others have tea sets there.
Still others have lovely fluffy teddies, and creme-puffs with gorgeously irresistable tea-cosies lined with golden dreams of the perfect banana smoothie - but not all.

Many men have equally frivolous dreams, which they mistake for reality. Perhaps some of the ladies from the fluffy club can tell us of some of the silly things their men get into.

Hello Epistome,

I don't think the female gender is the weak one although people believe so!

Females might be weaker physically but that doesn't mean that all females are weaker!

Psychologically, I would say that females are much stronger than males since as it's been mentioned above. Yes, females think a lot about their problems while males don't (or at least I think so). Isn't that of weaks to escape from the problems? Isn't that of cowards? I am not sure but it is what males do when they don't think about their problems and let "the time" solve them all.

Emotionally, in my opinion, females are stronger too. Yes, we cry for things, we cry when we are sad, we cry when we are happy but we express our emotions, do men do so? They are scared of what others might think of them!

In my opinion, females are stronger than males..Smile [:)]

I suggest men crying and sharing their problems because this makes a human live much longer than normally. So, it isn't surpising that generally women live much longer than men.Smile [:)]

Good advice! I think I'll cry three times a week from now on, that will be a good training! Stick out tongue [:P]

That's not necessary!Wink [;)] Cry if you feel like doing so, cry if you are sad, cry if you are happy..just show your feelings! Don't hide them, that's the secret of the female gender!Wink [;)] By the way, crying makes us much stronger! Women cry while men do stupidities such as shouting at others or just fighting with the first person they come across. (OK, not all men but most of them!).

G'day Epitome,

This is an exercise in futility set by a foolish teacher lacking the ability to frame a decent question.

You would have to obtain a definition of weaker.

Weaker is too vague a word in this sense.

I do not believe that such a subject could be intelligently discussed by anybody.  It is far too subjective.

Some people see crying as a weakness and some see the lack of ability to cry to be a crippling weakness.

Some people see the ability to kill as strength but many consider this to be base weakness.

See ya

Stannum, if the discussion is "beneath you," then you don't have to participate, but please do not be rude. There won't be a right answer - the original poster is just looking for thoughts and opinions.
