A great question!

I think the most important thing is to believe in yourself.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall. - (Confucius)

Consider the postage stamp, my son. It secures success through its ability to stick to one thing till it gets there - (Josh Billings)

The surest way not to fail is to determine to succeed. - (Sheridan)

Not failure, but low aim, is crime. - (Lowell)

i liked that wood. but the ladder of success is crowde at the bottom very few manages to reach the top. what is the fate of those still on the ground and looking up at the top of the ladder is just a dream and never possible.

What are you are talking about? Success in general? If so, how do you define success? We need some more tangible information to discuss this topic otherwise it will be the same as talking about the fact that earth goes around the sun.

I think far too many people in this world define success incorrectly.  Naturally, many people will fail when expectations about life are generally outward, rather than inward.  Success is not something measured by others.

(Moderator: These are Bill Gates's 11 rules of life. If you are copying someone elses material it is important that you credit them otherwise you - and this site - are liable under copyright laws.Thanks.)

To be succed in something you have to follow little rules..

RULE 1

Life is not fair; get used to it.

RULE 2

The world won’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

RULE 3

You will NOT make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice president with a car phone, until you earn both.

RULE 4

If you think your teacher is tough, wait until you get a boss. He doesn’t have tenure.

RULE 5

Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different

word for burger flipping; they called it opportunity.

RULE 6

If you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

RULE 7

Before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes, and listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you save the rainforest from the parasites of your parents’

generation, try “delousing” the closet in your own room.

RULE 8

Your school may have done away with winners

and losers, but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades; they’ll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

RULE 9

Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.

RULE 10

Television is NOT real life. In real life, people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

RULE 11

Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one.

Hi deepa,

The question you asked is really valuable to think about.

This problem is facing every person through out his/her life .

Failure give us the internal motivation to achieve our goals, especially our long term goals.failure give us the experiences that are crucial to maintain our success in the future.

Thus, failure is a main part of our future success.

<<<experience is not how the problems affect your life ,it is how you deal with those problems>>>
