   Do you know anything about Latin American soccer? It seems like you don't. If you can recall that the Costa Riquian team Saprissa who played the World Cup of Clubs last year and earned 3rd place. Well most of the Costa Riquian team is based on that Club team. As far as Ecuador goes I'm from Ecuador, but I like to be realistic. Well in South America we have the Copa Libertadores which is the European version of the Champions League. Well threw out history South American teams(both in Clubs and national Sides have won more International trophy's then European sides). Well in Ecuador we have a team called Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito, and the National team is based on players from that team. As of right know this team is in the Semi-Finals of the Copa Libertadores. This team has been able to win in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile which climate is close to Germany's climate. Don't be impressed if you see Liga in the World Cup of Clubs next December in Tokio; even more how histories has been recently they may even beat THE GREAT BARCELONA, in the FINAL. Some people say Ecuador qualified because of the altitude; well that would mean that Ecuador & Bolivia should have been in all of the World Cups. So don't understimate Costa Rica or Ecuador.

hi everybody, just don't think of winning the world cup by any other country, its none othe then england from group b , they are fit to play now ,will it be brazil or france ant thing , just stop concentrating on other country , just think of england, and watch out , they will teach you a lot......................... c y7a

Group winners:
Germany & Poland
England squeaks by Sweden
Argentina with surprise Cote d'Ivoire
Portugal and Mexico on goal dif.
Italy (with a minor first game hick-up) takes upstarts USA along for the ride.
Brazil & Croatia easily advance.
Spain with Ukraine nipping at their heels.

2ND round
Germany takes the Swedes
Agentina find out why Mexico are here
England blows through Poland
Portugal narrowly misses defeat from Cote D'Ivoire
Italy manage the Croatian attack
France limp out to Ukraine
Brazil are shocked as USA advance.
Spain slaps the Swiss.

Quarters
Mexico sends Germany a message.
Italy handily defeats the Ukraine squad
England tastes victory over Portugal in penalties.
USA deal the under-achievers Spain another set back

Semi-Final
Mexico takes it far but The Azzurri are too much.
England flex their football power and dismiss the USA

Final
England falls just short of their second World Cup as the italians rejoice on Number 4~!!!!!!

there is no way that ghana will make it beofre italy....the czec might finish before them but ghana def. wont....italy has to much experiance with 16 WCs under their bet the czec will be lucky to finsih ahead of them!!!!!!!!!!!
