these teams should make it to the next round:

Group A: Poland, Germany

Group B: Sweden, England

Group C: Serbia and Montenegro, Netherlands

Group D: Portugal, Mexico

Group E: Italy, Ghana

Group F: Brazil, Australia

Group G: Switzerland, Korea Republic/France

Group H: Ukraine, Spain

a notable absence in the round of 16 is Argentina.  The reason i left them out is that their defence is in shambles: they are slow, unorganized, and unmotivated.  they will give up many goals as they have been relying on their talented and creative midfielders and forwards to win games.

I also left out the Czech Republic because they seem a bit too slow to meet the pace of Italy, Ghana, and the USA.  I think they are a bit too old to do well enough to qualify.  They will most likely be hit on a breakaway and face an uphill battle throughout most of their games, which an old team is not quiet apt to thrive in.

For Group G, the Swiss have the best chance to win the group as they have the best team chemistry.  they are young but have been playing together for quite a while.  Second place is up for grabs as both France and Korea have poor team work and morale.  The managers of both teams have failed to create a sense of understanding amongst the players necessary to create clean, beautiful football with great pace.  I would love to see these two teams get their act together and be much better than they have been in the past four years.

I really disagree with the previous predictions. Germany will not beat Portugal, even if they are the host nation.

What about South Korea? They beat Italy in 02 and there is no reason why can't go to the semis again.

Finally, without Rooney, England has no hope in hell of beating Brazil. With Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Kaka, Roberto Carlos, CAfu and Robinho, this WC is Brazil's tournament to lose.

Brazil will beat Argentina in the finals - you'll see.Wink [;)]

After  the match Poland-Ecuador I think Poland is not going to leave group :/ Our players are good, but today they played piteously.  Germans won, becasue they play good and Costa Rico is worse. Anyway Close is the best player of german team.

I'm waiting for the match Poland-Germany. I hope Polish players will show how teams should play Smile [:)]

Brazil will beat Germany in the final match.
