Hi,
I don't know whether you guys are aware of it but the African Cup of Nations is going on. The quarter finals will begin tomorrow, and guess what? Three  out of the five  African representatives to the world cup did not make it through. and  Tunisia and Ivory Coast finished second in their respective group. The performance of Angola, Togo, and Ghana has created doubt in many Africans. Some people even argue that the absence of Cameroon and Nigeria to a world cup is depriving people from enjoying nice football. They even think FIFA has to review the rules governing the qualifications to the world cup, at least for the African zone. What are your views about it?

I personally think the rules are clear and fair. The qualifications have to be free of favorism and a team which is qualified to the world cup deserves it. Nigeria and Cameroon should have taken the competion seriously from the very beginning. You don't start a competition 3 days to its end and hope for a miracle to get through. Cameroon had the opporunity to get its ticket, even up until the 90th min of its last game. They wasted a penalty kick. Nigeria could have done so as well , had they took their second to the last play off game seriously. Besides,The 1994  campain was a disaster for Cameroon. Our performance was below average. For their first participation Senegal did great and reached the Quater finals. Besides, African Cup of Nation, though it is an international competition cannot be compared to the World Cup. Togo, Angola and Ghana, while they displayed a poor performance, can  adjust the shot during the World Cup

Hi guys,

i live in france and i think french team will be ready for this world cup. It could be the last big tournament of zidane and he will do his best to quit football with a major trophy. We have also terrific strikers like henry the king or trezeguet! and a wonderful midfiel with vieira and makelele, a good goalkeeper coupet, thuram!

for me french team is the best of the world just after brazilizan team.

it could be hard for others to beat us Smile [:)]

China failed to qualify.

Government set ping-pong/table-tennis as our national sport.

But nearly all youth prefer soccer.

Do believe France!

it's a pity for chinese. I think you could have a goog level at football, and I think you will succed to be a big team.

Do you know a french player who is in China(Nicolas Ouedec)? He was a former french international and about 4 years ago he decided to play in China championship.
