Speaking of film noir, here's a classic scene.
In this scene, good girl Ella Raines has gone undercover to seduce hep cat drummer Elisha Cooke Jr. in order to find out information that might save her boy friend condemned to death in Phantom Lady.

No words spoken but you sure get the idea.

That's a weird scene. Elisha Cook Jr.'s a generally weird guy, but this scene is just... odd. Interesting bit of character, pretty well establishes she's not sincere in her efforts but committed to seeing them through, and he seems pretty thoroughly hopped up on something, but... I'm not sure how you'd even write a scene like that.
