Hi,

1.I squeezed the fruit to see/find out if it was ripe.

2.I took a bite of the pear to see/find out if it was sweet.

Would it be fine to use 'find out' here?
Is there any difference between 'find out' and 'see' if yes?

Not really. Find out indicates intention and so does the infinitive to see.

In this context, "to see" means "to find out". Both can be used, but the usual usage would be "to see".
