We can say speed sound or the speed of sound...body parts or parts of the body. But can we say tank of fish instead of fish tank? Is there a rule for this in english grammar? Does the change affect the meaning?

speed sound - incorrect

speed of sound - correct

body parts - correct but it sounds as though they are separated - as though the person has been dismembered!

parts of the body - correct

tank of fish - correct but only if there are fish in the tank

fish tank - correct name for the tank that holds fish. It doesn't say whether or not there are any fish inside it.
