Hello, we come from Germany.

The sun has been shining very brightly here for 3 weeks. We would like install solar panels on our roof.

I would like to know the name of the material used for the 'base' of flexible solar panels. Normal solar panels use glass.

Thanks in advance,

Lothar, Bruno, Karl-Heinz and Manfred.

Hello, Lothar, Bruno, Karl-Heinz & Manfred!
This is coming to you from sunny Sydney (Australia).
At the present time, I am engaged in searching for suitable solar panels to market through my company and I have been looking up solar panels on the Internet for background information, technical information and pricing.
Can I suggest that you go to Google (what else?) and type in flexible solar panels? There are a number of great sites that will give you information, energy generated and pricing. PowerFilm (from the USA) is excellent; Earth Tech Products has a big range of solar panels; Silicon Solar (USA again) and The Alternative Energy Store. Any of those will set you off on the right path.
Best of luck.
