Are the following sentences grammatically correct? Thank you for your help.

I am writing to ask if you could forward our information to artists that might be interested.Your help is greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.

What does this date mean in the sentence? The date the poster will be assisting the event or the date of the event? If the latter, is 'on' correctly used?

If you single out that sentence alone, you may argue that there is an ambiguity which, in fact, has already been dispelled by "currently" and later by the text of the message.
