hi there, came across this site not long ago - its pretty new, www.ecpod.com the whole premise of the site being that you learn english by watching videos. best of all its free :)

Hello Balckberry! You know I understand you, english is not very easy. But for beginners there is the website www.linguasnet.com

You can learn english's bases here and also spanish portuguese, and romain.

It's a free site for intermediate to advanced English learners.  Helps you practice by watching captioned videos on a whole variety of topics - music videos, movies, science, art, sports.  Nice feature is that you can click on the captions and get a word-level translation into 13 languages as you're watching.  Also, complete English transcript, vocabulary and listening comprehension games.
