Hi all,
The best way to improve your pronounciation of the new words is to read and check for the pronounciation of the words you do not know, and listen a lot! Always keep a dictionary or two at hand. There are also many good online dictionaries, unfortunately they do not give the pronounciation. But there are other resources available on the net. One is the newsgroups! teranews is a free one that you have to pay just a registration fee of $35 for downloading 50 MB per day. It has a group: "alt.binaries.world-languages" that lots of language softwares are sent to them and can be shared, including Rosetastone, Pimsleur, Michele Thomas, Transparent Language. Sometimes you can find audios that help you to improve your accent as well. BBC also offers a very good radio programme on learning English that you can listen to the programmes over and over again. Here is the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/radio/index.shtml
Good luck,
