Great answer above, and just a few gaps.

Jamboree is from an Indian dialect

Conundrum is a modern adoption of ancient Greek

and, Pizzazz is a modern American onomatapeic (I bet you're reaching for the dictionary now) word. Onomatapeia comes from ancient Greece and refers to a word created to reflect a sound, eg drip which describes the action of a drop of water falling and landing, whilst also sounding like the drop landing. Pop is my favourite word of this type.
