Hi!

How do we call -even the slang used - a person that is futile and spoil, only think about clothes, make-up, jewels, travels, etc..Like some people describe, for instance Paris Hilton?

Hi,

I often hear people call her 'an airhead', meaning her head is empty, just full of air.

Best wishes, Clive

Hello, Clive!

Thank you. But is this word a slang?

Hi Clive

How do we call -even the slang used - a person that is futile and spoil?

Shouldn't it be 'spoilt'?

Best wishes

"spoilt"

Yes, or "spoiled" (more commonly) in AmE.

Hi!

Please I need a help. Why can I not say: How do we call a person that is spoiled/spoilt and futile? But What do we call...?

Thanks,

Gianne

I would suggest that the question be rephrased as  "What do we call a person that is spoilt and futile?"

Because "how do you call it?" would mean "in what way do you call it?"...

For instance, a possible answer could be:  "I usually whistle" (I hope "it" is his/her dog Smile [:)] )
