I am looking for an adjective to describe  things or schemes that are not completely legal or socially allowed, like ''shady games''.

Thank you

Taboo: something that isn't allowed by a society's morals.

Ponzi Scheme: The original "pyramid scheme" a get-rich-quick idea that is used to steal people's money. (Named for Charles Ponzi)

Grift: A term for any number of confidence schemes.

Thank you Vorpar and Alan.

Actually, it's about a husband cheating on his wife. So, I am looking for a word that would describe that he is acting strangely because he has something to hide, if you know what I mean. So this would be ''his ? games" or whatever word would fit.
