Hi Karlos,

That's quite a difficult quiz. Could most people in your country answer all that correctly? I doubt that most Canadians (including me) could.

Best wishes, Clive

it is a difficult quiz. but it shows how much education has changed through generations. Few people would be able to answer this correctly. It shows that knowledge is being neglected for social accpetance. Society tells us to buy a mobile phone, to have an  internet accouint, to have a digital camera and many other things. I was asked by a friend of mine, where are the da vincis of today? acdemic excellance or knowledge is being neglected. People want everything now. Patience is gone. Languages are being neglected by english speakers because, hey, why bother? If society is to progress then science must develop. Science is the key. Science teaches us that humanity is the key to success. We dont as a society need to respect religion for us to be peaceful. The key is to respect humanity. If we focus on humanity, then society will progress. More respect will be given to intellectuals and the da vincis and newtons will emerge once more. Why people no-longer know what is the tallest mountain peak in europe, i dont know, but its something small and minor that needs to be addressed. The past is no-longer respected by todays generations. Who cares what churchill did in his time, who cares what germany did to Poland and Britain. Who cares about Henry II or Charlemagne. But if we did read and learn from the past and small minor facts that make us understand the world, i am alsmost certain that this world will be better to live in.

History has a way of repeating itself. Look at Iraq. But poverty continues to emerge in places you least expect..america, southern italy, greece, spain northern africa..500 years it wasnt the case in southern europe. Politicians and the people have forgotten what the catalyst was to making these places economically successful. If we read and learnt from the past southern europe and even america wouldnt be in poverty. We must get our own house in order before we address the giant beast of africa. but it can be fixed. it means the emergence of patience in humans and respect for history that can solve many of the worlds problems. many areas covered..but the inability to answer this question goes alot deeper than many think.
