Hi all,

say I'm going to study abroad to get higher education and to recieve higher education. which one of them sounds more natural?
if none of them sounds natural, what are the some of the words I can use to decribe this situation?

Thank you.

Neither sounds very natural, because studying abroad is usually assumed to involve higher education. Do you know a lot of people who go to primary school or high school abroad?

I'd just say 'I'm going to study abroad'.

Best wishes, Clive

I agree with Clive.  As to the choices you offer, I think 'get' an education, in general, is more common than 'receive'.
