may you explain me the meaning of "get under my skin"? for example 2 below sentences


I got you under my skin
he is trying to get under her skin

"Under her/his/my skin" means either to irritate someone or to miss someone terribly.

So, depending on the context (i.e., need more info prior to of after the given sentences), both your sentences could mean either of those.

 I'd like to share a similar expression I'd never heard before moving to Mobile: "to put ants on me."

 

John's a nice guy, but something about him just puts ants on me. I hope I don't get stuck sitting next to him at lunch.

Never heard of "put ants on me" though there is a "ants in one's pants" which means very restless, anxious or uneasy.

"She just can't sit still; she must have ants in her pants."
