I sometimes want to follow a question without posting an answer to it. Is it possible to get an email notification for a response to a quesion where I have not posted an answer?

Hey, jemaasjr. Yes, it is possible. Click the link "Replies are not e-mailed to me" above the first post of a thread; you'll see "Replies are e-mailed to me" in red, which means you'll receive notifications about replies.
