Ok..let's consider it as a factor for global warming but not the truth. It does not say: ACTUALLY, THIS IS THE FACTOR, we have got speculations based on these extracts:

What can we imply ? Global warming is a factor due to burning of fossil fuels because as the research proved there were no changings on sunspots.Nevertheless Earth's temperature changed as expressed here "Average
global
temperatures have increased by about 0.2 deg Celsius over the past 20 years
and are widely believed to be responsible for new extremes in weather patterns" SUGGESTING human activities to be blame for this increase.
Clive Woodward, this article just infers that these 0.2 dg, along 20 years,were due to burning of fossil fuels and deforestation not vulcan eruptions or related activities or sun's growth in brightenin.
Moreover, we all know that major contributos inside USA are petroleum corporations, mining companies and others that do not use clear sources.It was said that the White House barred a research which concludes that global warming was a reality nor a dream that some intitutions want us to believe in.
