Has anybody watched the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth"? You should...it gives an overall look of what is going on in our planet and trace predictions based on present day carbon dioxide emissions. I have just received an alarming message from stopglobalwarming.org which says canadian sea ices are melting faster than thought and a major sea ice has already snaped free in a span of a hour (cientists thought it would it take years and in a matter of a hour everything break free), it was on August 13, 2005. Climate changing was a major contributing factor to this melting and here comes the question:
Who is guilty, USA for not approving Kyoto protocol and not reducing their emissions of cabon dioxide, China for not respecting environmental issues on such a fast growing economy or every single country has to stand by this cause?

Don't Panic!

That movie is state terrorism in its most insidious form!

 Yes, there is global warming.
Are we responsible for it? No! It is the result of a well documented increase in solar activity which is affecting almost every planet in out solar system.
 Don't panic!
 Don't feel guilty!
Don't jump out of 37th floor window screaming "It's the end of the world"

If you really want to do something useful, go and pour a few buckets of water into the nearest smouldering volcano. Seriously! Each large volcanic eruption emits about the same amount of pollution as all the man made emissions in the last one hundred years!

Goverments like to keep their people terrified! It makes them more easy to manipulate.

Don't worry, be happy.

That is the most weird explanation to global warming I have ever heard about...ok opinion expressed.

Never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity

Ok..let's consider it as a factor for global warming but not the truth. It does not say: ACTUALLY, THIS IS THE FACTOR, we have got speculations based on these extracts:

"He added, however, that the study also showed that over the past 20 years the number of sunspots had remained roughly constant, while the Earth's temperature had continued to increase.

This suggested that over the past 20 years, human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation had begun to dominate "the natural factors involved in climate change", he said.

Dr Gareth Jones, a climate researcher at the Met Office, said that Dr Solanki's findings were INCONCLUSIVE because the study had not incorporated other potential climate change factors.

"The Sun's radiance may well have an impact on climate change but it needs to be looked at in conjunction with other factors such as greenhouse gases, sulphate aerosols and volcano activity," he said. The research adds weight to the views of David Bellamy, the conservationist. "Global warming - at least the modern nightmare version - is a myth," he said. "I am sure of it and so are a growing number of scientists. But what is really worrying is that the world's politicians and policy-makers are not."

What can we imply ? Global warming is a factor due to burning of fossil fuels because as the research proved there were no changings on sunspots.Nevertheless Earth's temperature changed as expressed here "Average global temperatures have increased by about 0.2 deg Celsius over the past 20 years and are widely believed to be responsible for new extremes in weather patterns" SUGGESTING human activities to be blame for this increase.

Clive Woodward, this article just infers that these 0.2 dg, along 20 years, were due to burning of fossil fuels and deforestation not vulcan eruptions or related activities or sun's growth in brightenin.

Moreover, we all know that major contributos inside USA are petroleum corporations, mining companies and others that do not use clear sources. It was said that the White House barred a research which concludes that global warming was a reality nor a dream that some intitutions want us to believe in.

Regards.

and what do you propose: kill hundreds or let drought, floods or other natural disasters decimate the majority of world's population?
Frankly, there was stupid.

No proposal was made - a statement was made. Up to everyone to find an answer

See, you are terrified!
Don't just examine the particular article I linked. Go do some homework of your own.
It's hard to give up the beliefs we have held for a long time... but a quest for the truth demands it!
