I always write it capitalised. eg  "I read in the Bible that He said etc etc.." and not " I read in the Bible that he said etc..."
I am sure I am right.
 Am I?

So, is He a pronoun? Is He a name?

Since about the time of the King James version of the Bible, it is a convention to capitalize He when reffering to the divinity in that book.  While referring to gods of other religions, not so.  Some newer versions [Serendiptiy, 1981, for example] have dropped the practice.

Hi,

Some people prefer the texts available that refer to God as 'She'.

Best wishes, Clive

I'm certain it was no accident.  Many "modernized" denominations refer to God as He/She, Creator, Father/Mother, etc.
