Do you write"  The unit is composed of 2 types of modules" or "The unit is composed of 2 types of module"

Pls help.

Either is acceptable, Sajna.  I myself would choose module.

This is awkwardly worded and the meaning unclear.   If nothing sounds quite right, try rewording to avoid the confusion.  I can't tell if a unit has one, two or more modules.  For example, do you mean "The unit is composed of one of two types of modules." (I don't like this either, too many of's)  Or is it composed (I would prefer the word "comprised") of several modules from two general types?  The problem here is that you are not communicating your meaning.  Once you understand what you are trying to say, you can answer your own question.
