Can we say further from or further than?

If memory serves me correctly, it's "further/farther from," but only "farther than."


Edit.  Hmmm.  That's gotta be wrong.  "Further than" is the most popular Google choice by ten-to-one.  The other three are about equal to each other.


They're all used, in the proper context.
