Grammar Book?

I am a ninth grader and I want to get to a advanced literature and composition, but I do not have proper English such as when to use past tense and so forth. I want to grammar book that start from the basic and into advanced. I know that it is hard to find a book that contains every details, but please help me. I have Student's Grammar of the English Language, but it is harder than I have expected. such as copular verbs. I did not a good foundation because I arrived to America in 2010. I do not know how much I wanted to be good at that class, so please feel free to suggest books that can be helpful.

Start with an easy book, so you have a good basis; then intermediate, then advanced.

This book was bought for my wife who is Chinese and is used by her tutors at the local college, highly recommended for people who have basic English and wish to have a good understanding of grammar, best buy this year

I'm currently teaching English to 5 students in Italy and all are working from this book. It moves in a logical order, is easy to understand. I couldn't do without it!

As this is a very useful book for self-study or for homework for a class, it really can be described as an essential resource. Grammar is split into easy steps and students can practise points they aren't sure of and check their answers in the back. The Intermediate and Advanced versions are available for higher students.
