Hello Teachers,

Are there any grammatical mistakes in the following para? What improvements would you suggest in this paragraph? I am not sure about the position of the word 'just'. Please comment.

It is absolutely true that just having best standards on the documents wouldn't help an organization to reach its goals. I had an experience with a company that maintained well-organized HR design and practices on its documents but the company never paid attention in implementing most of the standards. The company realized its mistake only when the unhappy employees started quitting their jobs, and, employee turnover rate reached the peak.

I'm no expert, but I'd like to take a stab at this.

It is absolutely true that having best standards merely on paper won't help an organization to reach its goals. I had an experience with a company that maintained well-organized HR design and practices on its documents (do you mean having an HR plan on paper? What sort of plan is this?) but the company never paid attention in implementing (sounds like it's careless in its implementation.  Is that what you want to say?) most of the standards. The company realized its mistake only when (delete the) unhappy employees started quitting their jobs, and, (delete comma) employee turnover rate reached a peak.
