No offense, but while you recommend the "Mircrosoft word" (or as I call it Microsoft Word), which is certainly "cheeper" than buying a separate software tool, you may want to consider actually using it yourself, especially if you want to promote yourself as "somethinf" that does a better job than a program. you may want to try frazeit.com it's a quite efficient (and free) way to look for the right turn of phrase. it has also a word/phrase suggestion. hope it helps. New Member 02 Anonymous: Hi,I completely agre with you about whitesmoke, I actually didn't buy it but I've just had one of the sale assistant on the tchat and he was really confusing. At the begining he told me that I could use it only with internet, then I said him that I first had to check if I could install internet on my virtualbox as I have windows on a virtualbox and linux as the host. So he says that I can use the whitesmoke software on linux, I answer him that on the website it is says that I can't, so he says me that the online whitesmoke software works on linux, so I ask him if there is a offline version of this software and he answer me yes, for $119. After that I was really confused as on the website it is says that the reason why whitesmoke can not be use other than over the internet it is because the database it to large! So I ask him how heavy is the file and he answers me 9 to 10 m, which is nothing!  So I ask him if there is everything on it, dictionary, theasaurus... and he tell me yes. I told him than on the website it says that the reason why the software is only over the internet it is because it would be too heavy, he didn't know what to answer and just told me that he was the sale manager and than he could give me a good price. Also that I could cancel whenever I wanted whithing 30days. Weird!!! Let me know what you did  Good luck vero Anonymous: I bought White Smoke this week and want to warn everybody who is considering buying this program -- not only is the program very disappointing ( no better than grammar/spell check on Word) but the company is underhanded in their business practices. I asked for my money back and someone called me and tried to give me a new version of the program. I told them I wasn't interested and they said I should write support for a refund. I wrote for a refund 6 times and every time they treat the letter as if I am asking them to fix the program. I am not. I made it clear I want my money back. AFter 6 letters no money back yet. Avoid White Smoke. They are a fly by night business and don't deliver on either the software or their money back guarantee. Wow thanks. Im still thinking if I should get Whitesmoke, given their good reviews found on the net. Anyone know of other good grammar correction software? Don't bother googling for it.
