I think:

1.Bacteria and similar one-celled organisms (are ) reproduced by a dell division, Then each of the daughter (cell ) begins a new life as a distinct organism.

2. Due to persistent inbreeding, self-pollinating plants are  genetically more uniform than cross-pollinated plants.

3. Almost (every)  hereditary material of an individual organism resides in the chromosomes.

4 The music of the original inhabitants of the United States and Canada were recorded only  by  the early Seventeenth century observers.
