Can you tell me how to correct these worng grammar in parentheheses, please.
Thank you for your help.

1. Most of our ideas of (what )ancient people lookd and dressed come from the works of artists.

2. Rocks (have forming), wearing away and re-forming ever since the earth took shape.

3.Massachusetts is the first permanent (settlement at )Plymouth in 1620.

4. Charcoal is employed widely as a deodorizer because it absorbs gases (good).

5.Women's councils could voto a declaration of war (at refusing )to supply field rations.

6. Historians believe that forms of (an advertising )must be as old as barter and trade.

Hi, Wang,

I have a problem with No. 3, because I know that Plymouth is a city in Massachusetts, the first to have been founded by the Pilgrims. I cannot connect this information with the sentence. Sad [:(]

Anyway, here are my other answers:

1. Most of our ideas of how ancient people looked and dressed come from the works of artists.

2. Rocks have been forming, wearing away and re-forming ever since the earth took shape.

4. Charcoal is employed widely as a deodorizer because it absorbs gases well.

5.Women's councils could veto (vEto, right? There was a spelling mistake) a declaration of war by refusing to supply field rations.

6. Historians believe that forms of advertising must be as old as barter and trade.
