Hello,

I am very confused with following sentences.

Please let me know  what is a correct answer and give me detailed explanation.

* We may actually have microchips in our bodies ( examine,  examining ) our blood pressure.

* Speaking ability in English will make you better ( prepare ,  prepared ) for a rosy future.

Thanks & Regards

* We may actually have microchips in our bodies ( examine,  examining ) our blood pressure.  This sentence could use either, >  "We may have microchips in our bodies [to] examine our blood pressure" {{reason for inserting microchips}} OR  "We may have microchips in our bodies, examining our blood pressure" {{the microchips are continually examining...}}

* Speaking ability in English will make you better ( prepare ,  prepared ) for a rosy future.  "Prepared" - collocation of better and prepared - adverbial phrase.

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

Thank you for your kind reply.

I have more questions.

" have " is a causative verb ??

I think " make " is a causative verb.

=> it will make you better prepare for a rosy future. Is it wrong ??

Pls explain.

Thank you very much for your time.
